Charon is Gothic metal / Gothic rock from Finnland. Beware, because in beginnings they were playing death metal! Soon they left this territory and moved into a region of Gothic metal / Gothic rock and I have to admit they managed the shift flawlessly. With this recent album their music is becoming more enjoyable to wider audiences. You can feel their metal roots and harder edge, but melody is getting more and more important. Generally If you like gothic genre, you’re going to enjoy this record.
